One cloud computer.
Across your devices.
Omarchy runs in AWS. Mac, iPad, iPhone and Android become windows into the same desktop.
This dashboard belongs to one owner. Public visitors can explore the setup kit; owner sign-in manages the existing computer.
Your Omarchy
computer.
One desktop, across your devices.
Make this device your window.
Use Moonlight for the desktop. Pair each device once.
Set or reset your desktop password
This unlocks Omarchy and approves administrative actions inside your computer. It is separate from your Cloud Window login.
Use 12–128 characters. Your computer must be running.

Connect your private network
Install Tailscale on each device. Sign in to your own private network, then connect this cloud computer to that same network using the link below when it appears.
Get Tailscale ↗Connect the cloud computer ↗What is Tailscale, and why is this connection private?
Tailscale lets your devices reach each other through an encrypted private network, even when one is at home and another is in AWS. Your devices hold cryptographic keys; Tailscale coordinates their identities and connection information.
Your deviceEncrypted tunnelYour cloud computerThe connection uses WireGuard encryption. Devices connect directly when possible. If a relay is needed, it forwards encrypted traffic and cannot read your desktop stream. Network access follows your Tailscale access rules; Sunshine pairing separately authorizes the Moonlight viewer.
Knowing the private address is not enough to connect. Protect your sign-in account and devices, review who can access your network, and remove lost devices from Tailscale and Sunshine. Encryption does not protect a compromised device or hide the running VM from its cloud provider.

Install Moonlight for your device
Moonlight displays the desktop; Sunshine runs on your cloud computer. Pair each viewer once.
Mac
Install Moonlight, then use the optional Cloud Window companion for display sizing, keyboard shortcuts and microphone input.
Get Moonlight ↗Download Mac companion ↓Companion: Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later. Requires Moonlight and Tailscale. Developer build; Apple notarization is pending.
iPad & iPhone
Install Moonlight from the App Store and Tailscale, then follow the address and PIN steps below. Choose Native (Full-Screen) in Moonlight and adjust frame rate and bitrate there.
Moonlight on the App Store ↗Android phones & tablets
Open the official GitHub releases page and download the APK from the latest stable release’s Assets section. Open the APK to install it. If Android asks, allow installation from that browser or file manager, then turn that permission off after installation.
Get the official Android APK ↗Connect Tailscale, then add the computer and enter its pairing PIN below. Set resolution, frame rate and bitrate in Moonlight. This APK route has been tested by the project owner on Android.

A clear picture. A predictable bill.
Resolution follows your device. These settings apply to the next Mac session; set them separately in Moonlight on iPad, iPhone and Android.
Higher bitrate can improve moving detail and increases traffic cost. A setting is not a measurement of actual average usage.
Automatic screen size
Request Native (Full-Screen) on iPad or iPhone; choose your preferred resolution in Android Moonlight. The Mac companion requests the current display's pixel dimensions. Your desktop adjusts to the connected viewer.
Four-hour check-in
After 3 hours 45 minutes, a notification inside Omarchy asks you to keep running. Click it to renew for four hours. Without a response, the computer stops at four hours even if Moonlight is connected. Save your work: apps and background jobs close. Trial limits can stop it sooner.
One hour after disconnect
Your computer stops after an hour without a desktop stream, even if an SSH job is running. Save your work before leaving: files persist, but open apps and background jobs close. Trial limits can stop it sooner.
Your trial, in view.
Estimated resource usage, not the final AWS bill. Credits and free bandwidth are excluded.
Automatic shutdown also protects you from forgotten sessions: one hour without a desktop stream, or four hours without renewing the desktop check-in. The trial stops at 10 total running hours or 70 GiB of outgoing traffic. A cloud guard and an independent guest backstop enforce these allowances. Measurements can lag; this is not an instantaneous account-wide spending cap. Disk, image, setup, and website costs are additional to the usage estimate above.
