Developer preview · Bring your own AWS account
Your devices.
One cloud computer.
A persistent Omarchy desktop in AWS. Reach the same running computer from your Mac, iPad, Android phone or iPhone.
Omarchy runs on the cloud VM. Your device streams its picture and sends your input. Switch devices while the VM runs and continue with the same files and open applications. SSH is another way into that same computer.
Early developer kit. You need a compatible image prepared for your AWS account; image distribution still requires assistance. This is not instant hosted signup or a verified unattended installer.
What you keep
Your AWS account owns the VM and disk. Your Tailscale network connects your devices. Cloud Window gives you a private dashboard for starting, stopping, PIN pairing and estimated usage.
Saved disk files survive a normal stop. Open applications and unsaved RAM do not. A retained disk is not a backup: take snapshots and test recovery.
A private connection, explained
Tailscale coordinates device identities and connection information. Your devices use WireGuard encryption to communicate, directly when possible. If a relay is needed, it forwards encrypted packets without reading your desktop stream.
Your network's access rules determine who can reach the computer. Sunshine pairing separately authorizes each Moonlight viewer. The desktop and its administration interface are not exposed as public internet services.
You still need to trust your devices and cloud provider, protect your sign-in account, and remove lost devices. Knowing a private IP address alone does not give someone access.

The recorded Oregon estimate is $0.2425 per running hour for compute and IPv4, plus $6.40/month for an 80 GiB retained disk and outgoing traffic. Backups and management costs are additional.
At an actual average 12 Mbps, 40 running and streaming hours model to roughly $34/month before overhead and tax. That is an estimate, not a subscription price or a promise about your bill. Static work may send less traffic; video can send more.
The current trial stops after one hour without a desktop stream. A check-in at 3 hours 45 minutes lets you renew for four hours; without a response, it stops at four hours even while connected. The cumulative 10-hour / 70-GiB allowance still applies. Stopping saves compute charges; retained storage still costs money.

Read the prerequisites, get an accepted image into your own AWS account, deploy your dashboard, then pair your devices. The kit documents what works and what still needs assistance.
Independent project built with Omarchy, Sunshine, Moonlight, Tailscale and AWS. No affiliation or endorsement is implied. Four-device access is owner-tested; experience depends on your device, network and region.
